Own strategic customer relationships for IonQ’s quantum computing platform, developing lifecycle and adoption plans, defining health metrics, reducing churn, and driving renewals and expansion. Translate technical capabilities into business value, shape new service offerings, and collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering. Represent IonQ in industry forums while aligning cross-functional initiatives and advising executive and technical stakeholders.

Serve as the primary technical customer advocate for IonQ’s quantum computing platform. Lead onboarding, platform adoption, circuit and workflow optimization, troubleshooting, technical enablement, workshops, and customer health analytics. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to improve platform capabilities and documentation. Represent IonQ at industry forums and support global customers through travel and occasional off-hours engagement.

Provides frontline technical support for IonQ quantum computing customers, troubleshooting platform issues and job failures, assisting with onboarding, communicating during incidents, maintaining documentation, monitoring usage, and escalating complex cases. The role requires technical customer support experience, basic Python, familiarity with SaaS platforms, REST APIs, and helpdesk systems, plus strong communication and troubleshooting skills. Exposure to quantum frameworks, notebooks, SQL, and ticketing tools is preferred.
