Finnish Company Vaisala Establishes Vaisala India, Opens Mumbai Office

The new office is expected to support India’s industrial growth.

Vaisala, a Finnish provider of measurement instruments and climate intelligence solutions, has launched Vaisala India and opened a new office in Mumbai. The expansion is aimed at supporting India’s rapidly growing industrial sector in areas such as life sciences, electric vehicle battery production, semiconductors and electronics manufacturing services, according to a news release.  

“The Asia-Pacific region has been a key market for industrial measurements, experiencing remarkable growth over the years. As several Asian economies mature, the time is right for us to expand into the world’s fourth-largest economy, paving the way for a dynamic new growth market,” Vaisala’s Berndt Köhring said in a statement.

Vaisala provides advanced instruments and data solutions that help customers improve resource efficiency and support the global transition to sustainable energy. The company employs nearly 2,500 employees worldwide and is dedicated to promoting sustainability and climate action.
