Nazara Technologies, a Mumbai-based gaming company, is acquiring controlling stakes in Bluetile Games and BestPlay Systems, according to reporting by Sahyadri Startups, to strengthen its position in the global gaming ecosystem. The transaction is valued at $100.3 million.
The company has a suite of mobile games that includes the titles Love Island: The Game, CATS: Crash Arena Turbo Stars and World Cricket Championship. These offerings span the sports, kids, strategy, arcade and interactive storytelling genres. Bluetile Games’ portfolio of casual and social mobile games complements Nazara’s offerings, alongside Bestplay’s in-house rewarded engagement platform.
The acquisition will enhance Nazara’s business by embedding pathways for player acquisition, retention and cross-promotion. Adding the two companies’ capabilities ultimately enables Nazara to scale its operations across global markets, building on the company’s work integrating AI across game development, data infrastructure, marketing and live operations.
