L&T-Cloudfiniti, a Mumbai-based digital infrastructure company, has announced a strategic partnership with QpiAI, a Bengaluru-based deep tech company, to advance quantum computing capabilities and deploy quantum solutions globally.
According to a news release, QpiAI is known for developing Indus, India’s most powerful 25-qubit quantum computer. Through this partnership, the companies plan to introduce a 256-qubit system, followed by a fault-tolerant system, paving the way for large-scale commercial applications of quantum technology.
The partnership also includes joint research and development initiatives in quantum computing and AI, aiming to tackle challenges in sectors such as finance and healthcare.
Commenting on the partnership, L&T-Cloudfiniti’s Seema Ambastha said in a statement, “We are thrilled to partner with QpiAI to drive quantum computing workloads globally. This collaboration will leverage our cloud infrastructure to host and execute quantum algorithms, enabling scalable deployment of quantum solutions across domains. Together, we aim to deliver innovative and efficient solutions to our customers and enhance operational efficiency.”
