The primary role of the Sr. Project Coordinator - IND is to provide support for the planning, execution, and management of small to medium-scale projects at Ameriprise. The role involves assisting the program manager in ensuring the smooth coordination of project activities, tracking timelines, managing documentation, and communicating with various stakeholders. The Sr. Project Coordinator will also manage assigned tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, scheduling, and tracking of project timelines and milestones.
Support the preparation of detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Manage day-to-day operational tasks, including status reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and capture minutes to track key decisions and follow-ups.
Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies in the project lifecycle.
Maintain project documentation, ensuring proper filing and tracking of key project artifacts.
Collaborate with project teams across different departments to facilitate smooth communication and coordination.
Track project financials and assist in preparing regular financial forecasts and budget reports.
Assist in resource management and allocation for projects, including resolving conflicts and scheduling issues.
Continuously learn and apply Ameriprise’s project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
4-7 years of experience in project coordination or related roles, preferably within the Network Infrastructure, I.T. or technology sector.
Proficiency with project management tools, such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or CAPM certifications are a plus.
ITIL, CSM, or any relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a plus
Experience in coordinating technology-driven projects is preferred.
