Job Purpose and Impact
  • The Senior Professional, Software Engineering job designs, develops and maintains software applications and systems. With minimal supervision, this job collaborates with cross functional teams to define, design and implement new software features to meet user needs and business goals, and upgrade existing software to improve performance and functionality through writing clean, efficient and scalable code and troubleshooting and debugging complex issues. This job also participates in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with software engineering team members.

Key Accountabilities
    • SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: Designs and develops high-quality integration solutions using Dell Boomi, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code across cloud and on-prem environments. Leverages Boomi connectors and predefined patterns to build scalable interfaces.
    • AUTOMATION: Leads the automation of integration deployments using Boomi's AtomSphere platform and internal CI/CD tools, ensuring smooth and reliable releases across environments.
    • COLLABORATION: Partners with cross-functional teams-including product managers, designers, and engineers-to gather complex integration requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Collaborates with internal and external IT teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
    • TESTING & DEBUGGING: W rites and maintains complex unit and integration tests for Boomi processes. Performs debugging and root cause analysis to maintain the quality and performance of integration solutions.
    • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Identifies and implements proactive improvements to enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of the middleware platform. Stays current with industry trends in integration technologies and best practices.
    • DOCUMENTATION: Builds and maintains comprehensive documentation for Boomi processes, deployment workflows, and system configurations to support operational transparency and knowledge sharing.
    • TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provides technical support and troubleshooting for complex integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and fast resolution. Engages in peer reviews and mentors team members on Boomi development practices.

Qualifications
    • Minimum requirement of 4 years of hands-on experience in Boomi. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
    • Minimum requirement of 10 years of Total IT experience preferably in Integration area.
