Job Summary
As a part of our continued expansion, Targray requires the services of a Senior Software Engineer, to join our Software Engineering Team based at our India Office Gurgaon, Haryana.
Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Engineering Manager – Trade & Ops. Tech the role will focus on designing and developing solutions to support the commercial and operations applications in the organization.
  • Responsible for designing and developing front to back solutions based on Microsoft Platform suite comprising UI, business logic/ Application layer constituting N tier architectures.
  • Design and Development of UI/Front end screens as well as business logic functions using C#/.NET.
  • Responsible for writing structured, testable and efficient code by following the best practices in coding. 
  • Foster adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
  • Provide application support level III when needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to other developers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements
 

  • The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, MCA, BTech.
  •  The candidate for this role should have 5+ years in software development with solid hands-on experience in web application development using Microsoft technologies.
  • Should have strong hands-on experience in ASP.Net Web forms, MVC, .NET framework, C# & JavaScript, JQuery in developing applications.
  • Experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms is a must.
  • As part of this role, learning or having prior experience in application development using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) suite will be mandatory/be an asset.
  • Domain knowledge/ developing software in commodity trading and risk management is a definite advantage.
  • Should have strong hands-on experience in writing complex queries and business logic using T-SQL. Should be a great team player ready to help other team members.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written) with ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Knowledge of Agile & DevOps delivery methods.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player with proven ability to build relationships and foster collaboration across functional areas and keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Customer service-orientated approach, with the capability to work in agile environments and demonstrate flexibility in an evolving business landscape.
  • Should be highly motivated, disciplined and collaborative person with open mindedness, problem solving and great time management skills.
  • Very good English skills, oral and written.
