Maintenance & Operations

• Carry out preventive and corrective (breakdown) maintenance of:

  • Ship-to-Shore (STS) Cranes

  • Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) Cranes

  • Rail Mounted Gantry (RMG) Cranes

  • Fire protection & hydrant systems

  • Diesel Generator (DG) sets

  • Air compressors, pumps, and utility systems

• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and ensure minimum downtime.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures.

• Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and inspection of rotating equipment.

 Planning & Documentation

• Prepare preventive maintenance schedules.

• Maintain maintenance logs and equipment history records.

• Monitor spare parts inventory and raise indents when required.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards.

• Follow lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.

• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.

 Performance Improvement

• Suggest improvements for equipment reliability.

• Support breakdown analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Assist in AMC management and cost control.
