The Role

Xoom is PayPal’s international cross border money transfer service. Our goal is to enable the next generation of safe and secure global money movement. Xoom’s services provide a low cost and vital resource for people needing to assist their loved ones by sending money abroad, with services extending to over 160 destination countries and regions.

As a Xoom Product Manager, you will have a significant impact on PayPal’s ability to share our core mission and value propositions to consumers. You will play a crucial role in improving and expanding our money transfer services. You will work closely with other product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to develop and deliver features that enhance the send money experience. What You’ll Do

As a Xoom Product Manager, you will:

  • End-to-End Product Management: Lead the full lifecycle of remittance features, from ideation and requirement definition to design, development, and launch. Ensure seamless execution and alignment with project goals.

  • Feature Prioritization: Prioritize product features and enhancements based on user feedback, market research, and business impact. Align the product roadmap with overall business objectives and customer needs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and UX teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features. Facilitate effective collaboration to address challenges and achieve project goals.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to build consensus and align cross-functional teams around product goals and strategies, ensuring successful project outcomes.

  • Data-Driven Development: Utilize data-driven insights to ideate, build, deploy, and analyze features related to the remittance sending experience. Leverage data to inform product decisions and improvements.

  • Performance Tracking: Define, track, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for remittance initiatives. Use these metrics to evaluate success, guide decision-making, and drive performance improvements.

  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and address performance issues related to the sending experience. Implement solutions to resolve problems and enhance the overall user experience.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive product enhancements through user testing, A/B testing, and feedback mechanisms. Use insights to iterate on features and continuously improve the remittance experience for users.

About You

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related role. Experience in the financial services or fintech industry is a plus.

  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of product development processes, user experience design principles, and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques is a plus.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Leadership: Strongly resonate and aim to manifest our company-wide leadership principles in all work and interactions: Work Customer Back, Win Together, and Put People First

Language requirement:

  • Proficient (B2: Upper-Intermediate) in both written and spoken English.
