Sanofi Supply Chain Transformation

Over the last several years, Sanofi has embarked on a transformation program of Digital Supply Chain processes, and related information systems, including distribution, customer service, and planning systems.

Under the main transformation program SCCORE, a major stream is Supply Chain Planning, which includes the implementation of the Kinaxis planning system covering forecasting and demand planning, S&OP/IBP, Distribution Resource Planning (DRP), multi-sites planning (MSP), and CMO collaboration, as a Core Model.  The Kinaxis Core Model is being progressively implemented worldwide for each Global Business Unit.

SCCORE has evolved to support the ambitions of the recently launched Smart Supply Chain program which has a main objective to implement a smart supply chain from supplier to patient. SCCORE and Smart Supply Chain are taking place in parallel with, and in support of, other company strategic programs such as iSHIFT program (integrated ERP for Manufacturing, Distribution and Finance).

These transformation programs are aligned with an agile transformation and the evolution of our ways-of-working to become more flexible, adaptable, collaborative, and user-centric.

About the Job 

As the DevOps Integration Expert for Kinaxis, your primary mission is to ensure seamless integration of Kinaxis Maestro (formerly RapidResponse) with other enterprise systems, particularly SAP, so that data is received in full and in time in Kinaxis every day.

You will achieve this by leveraging your expertise in integration technologies and methodologies to enhance, maintain and support our current solution to guarantee stability and performance over time.

To fulfill this mission, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Platform Owner, Configuration Leads, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), business users, and external partners. Your role will be instrumental in supporting our digital transformation initiatives and implementing Global Core Model Solutions. This will involve leading activities related to integration design, build, deployment, and ongoing operations. Additionally, you will facilitate the development of necessary skills and expertise among our team members to drive the evolution of both the digital and business aspects of Supply Chain planning.

Other specific responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between Kinaxis and other enterprise systems, particularly SAP

• Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between Kinaxis and SAP ERP systems

• Collaborate with project teams to understand business requirements and provide expertise in integration design and development across all implementation lifecycle phases

• Lead and/or support the deployment of Kinaxis integration solutions to new sites and markets, ensuring successful roll-outs and operational excellence

• Participate in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of the integration solutions

• Act as a point of escalation in troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, collaborating with product teams and an external service provider, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on business operations

• Lead the adoption of Agile mindset and ways-of-working in our integration development domains

• Take the lead in fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team by actively engaging in knowledge sharing with other team members, ensuring the transfer of expertise and promoting the development of skills in integration development

• Stay up-to-date with emerging integration technologies and trends to contribute innovative ideas for system evolutions and enhancements

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience working with data pipelines, more specifically integrating Kinaxis with SAP and other systems. This includes design and build of interfaces, writing of transformation logic, bug fixing, orchestration, and monitoring

• Hands-on experience with tools and systems such as: APIs, Informatica, Tibco, Denodo, Snowflake, and Excel

• Technical knowledge about SAP: ABAP, iDocs, and SAP’s data model; and about databases: data modelling, writing and interpreting complex SQL code

• Functional understanding of the supply chain processes at the intersection of a planning and an execution system: demand, distribution and production processes and data, as well as of related software solutions: Kinaxis Maestro, and, nice to have: SAP PP, SAP SD, SAP MM

• Technical knowledge about Kinaxis Maestro data integration: data updates, data sources and mapping, data model, and automations

• Understanding of agile development processes and concepts, and ideally experience with tools such as Confluence and Jira

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with strict deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex challenges and propose appropriate solutions

• Collaborative team player committed to sharing knowledge and fostering continuous learning to elevate overall team performance

• Flexibility to collaborate with global teams by working in alternating shifts, including early starts (7:30 IST) and late starts (11:30 IST)

• Ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure under the leadership of multiple managers while collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders

• Experience in Pharma/life sciences/healthcare industries is a plus

• Fluent in English
